The community of Anahim Lake has a new school, clinic, police station, three general stores carrying groceries and dry goods, two fuel stations and a restaurant. Nimpo Lake has a general store with fuel and two restaurants. Dining in both areas ranges from casual to gourmet. Both communities support a large resort base dedicated to tourists offering employment for spouses outside of the mill. The area also supports cattle ranching, trapping, mushrooms picking, and outfitting and is the home of the Ulkatcho people. If you are seeking employment please go to the Contact Form. If you would like more extensive information on the Anahim and Nimpo Lake areas, you can find it at http://www.resortsbc.com.
