West
Chilcotin Forest Product's softwood lumber manufacturing
facilities start with a two line saw mill. Smaller
diameter logs are processed through a Chip-n-Saw line,
while the larger logs go to our Scragg Saw line. Our
lumber is then sorted to be sent to the automatic
stackers or edger line. The remaining waste is fed
through a chipper and shipped to the pulpmill.
Our twenty knife high speed planer manufactures a
quality product. The lumber is then graded and put
into an electronically controlled tray sort system,
and then transferred to an end stacker where it is
packaged for shipping.
West Chilcotin Forest Products Ltd. has the
ability to consistently produce a tight grain, high
quality stud, which provides our company with an opportunity
to develop long term working relationships all over
North America and Japan.
